            Valliammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School (VMHSS) was started in 1968. It has gained distinction in academics, sports and co-curricular activities and remains firmly committed to the cause of education in consonance with the emerging needs of present.

          VMHSS is a co-educational school, with approximately 2500 students on its rolls, studying in three different campuses at Anna Nagar, Aminjikarai and Shenoy Nagar. It also promotes the Valliammal College for Women.

          Valliammal Educational Trust Institution has been managing the school with the vision that "From the very beginning of his/her education the child should   experience the joy of discovery."

    With the hard work of our Founder A M Paramasivanandam; the Institution was started. Now under the guidance of our  Director and Chairman of the Trust, Thiru. A. P Maikandan, our Correspondent Thiru. A. M. Arivudai Nambi , School    Principal Mrs. Geetha Ramasubramanian and other enthusiastic members of the trust, the Institution has been running successfully for over 30 years.
