As Long as the Moon shall rise,

As long as the river shall flow,

As long as the Sun shall shine,

As long as the grass shall grow,

That long shall Valliammallians Strive,

In pursuit of Excellence.

The education is the transformation of head, heart and hands-head full of great ideals.  A heart full of love and compassion and hands ever eager to serve and assuage pain. Such pious intention of our late Prof A.M.Paramasivanandham  has created a great edifice under the name of his mother 'Valliammal' which is still remembered by everyone as Valliammal educational trust' even today.

The Primary object of the Institution is to bring about a harmonious blending between the traditional and the progressive methods of education. Our endeavour is to 'create', free human beings who are able in themselves to impart purpose and direction to their lives. Our teaching method and subject matter are so evolved that they can develop, harmonious and bring together the power of thought, feeling and action in the child.

The V.M.H.S.S. is a premier institution, devoted to the cause of students education. Music, dance, creative drama, Yoga, Vedic chanting, Transcendental Meditation are a part of the curriculum. Our School follows Matriculation Syllabus approved by the Government of TamilNadu. Value Education is an integral part of the School curriculum. Students are constantly encouraged and praised for their genuine acts of goodness. The filing system is followed to reduce the burden of the heavy school bag. Children of this generation emotionally collapse even when one thing in life does not go as per their expectations. So V.M.H.S. School has introduced a few innovative methods to breed excellence in students to promote the process of continuous improvement and to instill in every student realization that each one has to compete with himself and no one else.

Up to the VIth Standard, the school conducts only worksheets to ensure lesser portions and deeper understanding.
